My story of becoming CA. Narayan Choudhury...

I am CA. Narayan Choudhury, dynamic Chartered Accountant since 2006. I have completed my graduation in Commerce from Utkal University, LLB from Capital law college, ICWA from institute of Cost and works accountants of India and CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I am born in a teacher's family, originally belong from Jagatsinghpur, Odisha.

I regularly participate as a panelist on economic, taxation and government policy related debates in various regional news channels like DD National, News7 and Argus etc. Prior to starting my practice as a chartered accountant, I had also worked with Infosys Ltd as manager of SoX audit team from March 2007 till May 2017 and during these ten years travelled to various countries like USA, Brazil, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, France, China, Japan, Singapore, Hongkong and Thailand in many occasions.

I have been Felicitated by the Board of Studies of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bhubaneswar Branch for the contribution towards the teaching and career building of the CA students. I am the Winner of State level Moot Court Champion for the year 2013 and 2015.

I am the State General Secretary of Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training Foundation (IMCTF) founded by eminent economist and thinker CA.S.Gurumurthy, independent director of Reserve Bank of India. I have organised many social activities like Blood Donation camps, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Women empowerment, Education to the deprived and poor students. I have been appointed as the treasurer of SSVM Dharmavihar for the period 2022 – 2025. Also I have been appointed as member of the board of Utkal Bipana Sahayata Samiti (UBSS) for the period 2022 – 2025.
